THANKS BUT NO THANKS FOR 'LECTURE'
Dear Editor of the TODAY newspaper,
Allow me to kindly respond to your OPINION & COMMENTARY section entitled Genetics in which you in your typically cynical fashion respond to my letter to the editor in that same edition. Read more »

JUSTIFICATION OF A 'WARPED' MIND.
What IS ludicrous, is that an editor of some obscure news-paper, feels that
‘having studied enough biology in his time’, gives him some sort of ‘justification’/‘sense of superiority’ to be able to LECTURE some-one who GRADUATED from a University IN the discipline of Biology and who has the diplomas to PROVE it.
Like many, I too understand that there are people on this island, who probably left their own countries of origin out of desperation and who have found themselves in certain positions here, they never imagined in their wildest dreams.
Nothing wrong with that, as far as I am concerned.
As a matter of fact, I am proud that my country is that hospitable for others in need coming to our shores, which I feel we should continue this good tradition.
However, such does not give these individuals any right to TRY to lecture the people of this island, in their own field of expertise, which they themselves lack.
After all, there are enough people who ‘studied' enough politrics.
If we follow the ‘logic’ of the TODAY’s editor’, that would qualify them to lecture those locals, who GRADUATED from a University in political science.
Or, qualify those, who ‘studied enough of the 'Chinese alphabet’ to lecture a University graduate in Chinese linguistics, working as editor of a Chinese daily newspaper’
Perhaps for those with ‘warped’ mind that is the case.
Leopold JAMES .
