JAMES/NATIONTALK BECOMING MOST COVETED NAME-BRAND PROGRAM
Philipsburg, That ‘controversy’ is a most potent promotion-tool is well-known in ‘media-land’.
Most recent, successful example is the combination JAMES/NATIONtalk.
Both have become ‘un-separable’ over the course of time, like a very powerful ‘franchisable’ name-brand.
Like it or hate it, the combination draws massive listening audiences, world-wide.
After the very unwise decision of the management of 98.1 Pearl F.M. to remove the combination from its station, the value of, support and demand for the combination has only exploded.
One case in point was the recommendation of the work of this combination by one of the prominent speakers, during the panel-discussion on the New Labor law organized by Mr. Elco ROSARIO of the CBA on Thursday, last, January 8, 2009.
Recent invitation by Mr. Julian ROLLOCKS, a consultant to the Island-government and host of ‘STRICTLY BUSINESS’ also goes to show that, the positions of the combination, once considered ‘extreme’ are now becoming very acceptable to ‘mainstream- St. Maarten’.
In addition, again the combination JAMES/NATIONtalk will be on Oral Gibbes live on Thursday, January 15, 2009, at 8.00 p.m.; this time Mr. JAMES has invited non other than highly respected local business-man, Mr. Imran Mc SOOD to join with him on the program.
Also for next week Tuesday, January 20, upon invitation, Mr. JAMES will be the guest on the very popular radio-call in program, Talking Point of Mr. Billy D. HAMLET. Mr JAMES will be joined by Mr. Albert ADAMS (‘Jesse Torres’ and perhaps Mr. Chris EMMANUEL as well.
Obviously, the time has come for that combination JAMES/NATIONtalk is generally regarded as a major player, and stakeholder in the media, as well as in the socio-economic equation on the island.
Consequently, the local establishment on the island has come to grips with recognizing the importance of developing a very meaningful and permanent ‘partnership’ with JAMES/NATIONtalk on the entire island.
It is therefore evident that any ‘radio-platform’ that has the intelligence and vision to associate with this powerful ‘brand-name’ combination JAMES/NATIONtalk
Because of its obvious very powerful socio-commercial asset, the name-brand combination in keeping with public demand, is considering setting up various forms of its own ‘communication-platforms’, which will render it very independent from others.
